This is one among several interpolations I made of the space pirate concept introduced in 1977 by Leiji Matsumoto (of Star Blazers fame) with his famous character Captain Harlock. I envisaged a more relaxed, devil-may-care and cheeky version rather than the dark, silent hero that has too often (and falsely) been considered gothic.
