Boeing F-32A profile by Bispro Boeing F-32A profile by Bispro
A fellow deviant requested a profile of the Boeing F-32A Stratofighter to help him on a planned kitbuild, so I did this, using an illustration of the planned production variant found on the web [link] as a basis... Hope you guys/gals like it!

looks better than it originally did. My only gripes are the shape of the cockpit (which looks like it would produce a lot of drag) and the positioning of the intakes, since the engine on the X-32 was actually pretty long; the engine started just behind the cockpit.

Yes, I admit I was aiming at improving the aircraft's looks and in doing that, I overlooked that crucial technical aspect! Thanks for the comment.

But where's the engine though?

Same place, but two air intakes on either side instead of one big nose intake.

If it had looked like this in the first place, it might have actually won the JSF competition.

Thanks! Yeah, maybe, though I really hope the military doesn't pick its combat aircraft on looks alone!

I'm no 3D modeller at all, so I guess you'll have to imagine it... or have someone else do it! Sorry...

Is this a single engine or dual engine mod? Is that a dual intake or single? I like the mods you did to this bird. I like it just as much as the X-32A.

Nicely done. I know a guy I knew from my old account who might like to make a blueprint of it. Since he made one of the F-35 Hellcat variant of the F-35 from Josh Finney's comic Titanium Rain.

Oh! That's Bageera! Know him. Well, not personally, but we hang about the same forums... I consider my artwork takes me a lot of time, but in his case, I wonder when he even finds the time to sleep at all... :D

Yeah especially considering he makes like 3 designs every 2 or 3 days.
