Artistry at its best, both from the photographer and the maker of all things. To me this picture is the epitomy of nature's perfect imp...

I never thought I'd reach that mark one day... But it is true, I have no less than 500 deviations in my gallery! Not all of them great, not all of them highly artistic or technically flawless... but the best thing of it all is that some deviants stopped by and even faved some of them. If what I do brings a smile on someone's face, then I've reached my goal!
Stay tuned for more work soon when I finally scan my early pencil/pen artwork (mostly influenced by US comics)... not to mention the brand new photo work that I'm impatient to produce with my brand new camera!

Glamour model and online friend Luana Lani recently asked me the following question on . I thought it would be nice to share my answer here for all to see. Wish I just had the time to be as creative as I'd love to be, but this is basically what I consider as seven sound steps:

1°) Always try your best but accept you're not perfect and stop at some point of the creative process otherwise you will forever be reworking your creation.

2°) Leave your work to rest for a couple of days or more and go back over it with a fresh eye to see if it's really as great as you thought it was.

3°) Observe life passing by, get inspired by sounds, smells, colors, voices... rather than by the works of other artists. Life and the world around us are the greatest masterpiece of all.

4°) Keep clear from all the lice and leeches, all those who get their kicks out of either criticizing or over-complimenting, and rather seek honest, objective judgement from professionals.

5°) Strive to identify what makes your creative process original, what it is that makes your work unique, original and recognizable, and turn it into your own trademark.

6°) Remember this sound piece of advice from producer Quincy Jones: "Everytime somebody says 'You can't.' I say 'Oh, really?!'' and push the limits that others try to impose upon your creativity.

7°) Although not everyone can claim to be an artist, remember that not every artist is a genius, and remember that fame and fortune may never be part of the package, that's why you've got to do it all for the love of it, first and foremost.

You really deserve them, your stuff looks so real that I believed it was actually real, haha
Thanks! Despite my warning messages below the photos, I regularly receive messages from people asking about this or that aircraft which they hadn't heard of before... LOL
hello! I wrote a message for the Tintin group. did you receive it?

Hi! Sorry for not getting back to you any sooner but I'm going through some personal turmoil which also explains my decrease in internet activity these past few weeks.

I'm kind of discontented and discouraged by the whole Tintin group thing: some people join while others leave but there are very few submissions. And when there are submissions, most of the time it's either people who copy famous illustrations but add nothing substantial to the original, or people who are completely out of line with the spirit of the original works!

Fortunately, I get the odd great illustration every now and then, original, not a mere copy of Hergé and not completely off either... and when I do I try to feature it in a prominent position, but it doesn't happen that often... :/

I understand it, don't worry ˘˘

yeh, same happens with my groups too. sometimes it's hard to control, and when somebody finally wants to upload something, it expires...
I keep trying to add original deviations, this is why I ask you about, in which folder should I upload my comic [Tintin and the secret of the iron cross full 62 pages] to "uncategorized" or may it go to "canon art"??

and you know, any time you need help with the group ... ;) :)
Happy birthday
I'd donate but I'm short.
Not to worry, thanks for the thought!
